I have the utmost respect for the men
and women of the volunteer fire department. I am not making fun of anything they do. If you see a fire... try to put it out! You likely live at least 10 miles from the nearest fire station. There have been very few documented structure fires that haven't resulted in a total loss of property simply because by the time someone calls it in, the tone-out goes out, the guys/gals respond and get to the station, open the doors, fire up the unmaintained ancient vehicles, and drive to the fire... it's very likely too late.
