Economic Development (more like repression), now that's funny! Why?

We have "laws" here that prevent any "real" businesses from being here... with a few exceptions. You won't find any Wal*Marts, K-Marts, McDonald's, Wendy's, Applebee's or any other chain-type commercialized company in Linn County. The exceptions are, we have a Phillips 666, an BP, a Texaco... Dollar General and Casey's General Stores, they're everywhere!
